The Barbers

Louis

Louis took over the shop Jan 2025 after working at Ayrcuts for 8 years. He has experience working with ASN and is a part of the LGBTQI+ family. Before barbering Louis worked as an instrumental instructor and then in the care sector before he took up the clippers.

When not barbering he is either with his daughter Brooke and his cat Henry, or doing something musical, whether playing in orchestras, theaters or on stage!

The shop's decor reflects Louis’s personal interests, with his wide range of funko pops, and his choices in art and literature.

Gail

Former owner of her own barbershop Gail brings her invaluable experience to the shop! When not barbering she leads an active lifestyle and enjoys line dancing and zumba. Gail and her husband Billy enjoy going away in their campervan or jetting off to somewhere exotic!

Tamzin

Tamzin is a qualified barber and hairdresser and she's been here for a year now! She enjoys cooking, nights out, the football, and going on holiday with her boyfriend Mason. She's up to date with all the latest styles and what's fresh and she'll have you looking sharp in no time!

Sharon

Sharon is the former owner of Ayrcuts. She has been the face of the shop for over 20 years and throughout that time she has built up the shop and its clientele with her impeccable haircuts.

She is a master barber and is also known as the perm lady, as she is the only barber in Ayr who does perms. When not cutting hair Sharon and her husband Billy are usually away on an exotic holiday, or can be found at Ayr races. Their daughter Brooke is now at university and they have two cats.
